I'm going to post a poitical straw poll to see where the various candidates stand with the perverts. Here are the candidates. Let me know if I have left anyone out and let the campaigning begin.

For me Newt or Fred but I have to see if they actually run and what their stances on certain issues are before I would cast my ballot for them. To be honest I am disgusted by the state of politics as is from both sides, I really wish an outsider could stand a chance.

As an independent, I unfortunately see McCain marching away from my position. Hillary, no way, not ever. Obama is intriguing but I haven't looked into him very deeply, nor have I read his book. Anyone?
Fred is smooth and appears to have a clue, but his cancer is a fatal flaw, at least politically.
I need to do some more research, frankly, but in the mean time Lyndon LaRouche is looking strong.

Hillary will be the Dems candidate, Obama is just being prepped for a future run ( unless the party loses interest in him by then- like Cuomo . So it is Hillary vs. Repub. and I really can't say that I am inspired by that choice at all as it stands today.

I would take Ron Paul over anyone on Moxie's list of the usual suspects. Granted he probably doesn't have a prayer of winning but no one else has a prayer of deserving to win.

A democratic consultant told me that a Guilliani would beat Hillary handilly in a national election cause he would pick up seveal solid Blue states, like Conn, Pa, Mich, NJ & NY. As a candidate from the Northeast who can't beat Gulliani in the North East Hillary is unelectible in that matchup. She is also the only candidate that can't take advantage of his fidelity issues. Meanwhile, Hillary will not be able to pick up any of the red states because she's Hillary.

BTW- Who is Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is a libertarian Texas Congressman. I wonder if the social conservative fundie base of the GOP will support Giuliani? I also hear that Giuliani has been involved in some "interesting" business ventures since he left office in 2001.

The social conservatives will not support Gulliani, but they wont support a democrat either.

I know alot of people who worked for Rudy and Fitzgerald at the DOJ so I have a decent track on rumors. I've never been able to get the down low on these rumors about the business ventures. Rudy's positives are that he ran a goverment larger than most states and made it efficient and oversaw a police force larger than the CIA and FBI combined and used it effectively.

I like libertarians and will have look into Ron Paul.
