No, they're going to put on their calendar "2pm - go have gun profiled. 3pm - Run metal file down barrel a few times".

Be real - there's a risk people would believe the results too much, so for self-protection you'd scratch up your barrel so that if the gun got stolen and used illegally you wouldn't risk sitting in a jail for a while.
