So, in early 2007 we've had two newcomers who turned out to be at opposite ends of the spectrum. One came out gunning for the most established members, the other sought to befriend them. Both ended up provoking strong reactions.
I vote Raoul because I detest sycophants. However, I have no preconceived notion of how this one will turn out.

i think they are all just alts of the same noob trying out different tactics to create the most satisfying and popular XPT Hybrid.
Darth has a better name. Rather see someone battle the Intarnet Gods feebly than sucking at their teats when they sleep.

darth is clearly someone fucking around. his arrogance was facetious so people who called him on it quite possibly have no social awareness. i had no problem with his posts except for the endless flaming that ensued whenever he posted.
raoul just had a problem with his posting frequency- no one can be interesting, funny or any of the other qualities xpt values when they're churning out as many posts as he was. people just don't need to know raoul's opinion on every thread posted here, and continually seeing it led to the frustration and anger directed towards him.

ivor, i'm not sure if any purely-social thing like a message board stays a meritocracy for long. right or wrong, life kinda IS a popularity contest-i won't argue either way but going back to the capricious bannings of brandon it may be a bit pollyanna-ish to believe xpt's personality-blind.

Then the board members can throttle him, being banned is too ADT. Personally a lot of people riled me but I never banned because Jeff always said that that was a no-no, we are not ADT. This board was set up by a fallen angel from that board just so people of varying opinions can post so long as they don't spam penis pump pics or tranny pics of course. The point is moot anyway because Rauol is not banned anymore just given a time out for a week or two.

Uh, excuse me, Mr. "Legend," but has it occurred to you that by voting "for" Darth, a person is saying that you are The most annoying poster on XPT?  And anyone can get their posts put up on Luke's site. Willie, Moxie and Conky have been up several times, even when Conky's making fun of Luke's photography. Hell, even Raoul's been there more times than you, even his tepid version of "Week in Review." You're not special. And what are you doing here, anyway?
