Yeah I find it awful although a lot of people don't seem to be affected by it much. I know I am though, I think because I'm more nervous than other people and more likely to feel stressed. People have different things that trigger outbreaks. Mine are when I'm run down and/or living in dirty conditions. I usually know a day beforehand because I think I get a temperature and just feel crap in general. When I get the sore it appears in about a minute ( so quick! ) unless I put cream or something on immediately which can almost stop it from appearing. They aren't really painful but just contagious and tingle and are itchy and you're always aware of them. I wouldn't mind about having herpes so much just that the sores look so awful and everyone can see them - I feel like hiding away. In a way genital herpes is good because at least usually people aren't looking down there. I usually have regular outbreaks about 1 or 2 outbreaks a year. Some people with herpes never seem to get any outbreaks - they might get one tiny sore in 10 years however. Anyway its good to be sick sometimes to get time off work to do other stuff. Well I hope I haven't bored anyone
