Cleetus, I'm not personalizing the debate - I'm not upset about rapppers and their idiocy and I'm not really that upset about Imus either.

However, it IS a two-way street. Rappers (for example) are regularly criticized as a result of their misogyny, and are denied opportunities to continue their commercial speech (music and 'entertainment').

I read recently that Oprah won't have Snoop Dogg on her show because he's a douchebag (my words, not hers). That show might have got huge ratings, but she decided it wasn't worth the tarnishing of her brand (female empowerment) and said no - that's not censorship either.

I'm relatively sure that 50 Cent isn't playing any fundraisers for Mitt Romney either - again, not censorship.
