I didn't realize iMus was comedy - isn't he just a cranky old fucker that pops off about things he doesn't like (eg. minorities)?

Finally, I'm a little fuzzy on this whole First Amendment argument. As I understand it, the First Amendment gives you the right to speek freely

Doesn't that mean that the gov't can't prosecute you for your speech? It doesn't suggest that people should be encouraged to spout ignorant shit.

I'm no expert on American Constitutional Law, but where's the first amendment issue? He says a bunch of ignorant shit, and other people say ignorant shit like "hey advertisers, we are organizing boycotts of your products if you don't exert economic pressure to stop supporting stuff we find repugnant." See - free speech, it's all good - law of the marketplace prevails.

If someone was suggesting iMus go to prison, THAT would be a free speech issue.
