Whilst I agree with Houston Don's sentiments, the question has to be asked...who's better right now?
Stormy's the nearest thing the industry has to a mainstream crossover star right now (seeing as Jenna is all but done, I feel...  ). I'm just surprised at how little effort the bigger companies are putting in to finding, grooming and promoting 'the next Jenna', because once Jenna quits, Stormy is the next best thing we have in that sort of role.

I'm just throwing it out there. I have no research to back it up. Why let the truth get in the way of a good story? It's never stopped Luke. Although Wankus made some comments about Dick Delaware which Gene Ross reported. Does anyone know what happened to that one?

Thanks for the nod but I don't think of it in terms of the industry "needing" anyone in the role. Let's face it; for all the childish shit people in the industry pull on one another, mainstream entertainment types are a quantum leap worse; they just usually manage to cover it up better. When it comes to porn gals, they'll abuse them worse than Max with the promise of a bit role that will rarely, if ever, appear; all in the name of "making it in mainstream".
As others mentioned, a walk on role on The Man Show (which had a lot of porners on when it aired) hardly signified "making it" any more than a non-speaking role at scale as a stripper. Yet there are those in the industry that jump up and down like crazy when it happens; the recent hub bub about Michelle Maylene and Brooke Haven in a POS (piece of shit) teen nudie comedy starring Paris Hilton coming to mind. I reviewed it last year, was the first to mention their role in it (I even included pics- http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=25795), yet only recently did a few of the gossip sites pick it up like it was big news to them. Hollywood doesn't like porners all that much from what I've seen so why some act like they've been crowned royalty over a bit part?
Stormy's role in The 40 Year Old Virgin was a clip from a porno, Gina Lynn's stripper act in some episodes of The Sopranos, Ron Jeremy's minor roles in scores of flicks; exactly why should that impress anyone?
As to your last question, from what I've been told, none of the companies want the next Jenna Jameson. The logic is thus: They'd have to pour untold amounts of cash and resources into propping her up, keeping her sober and relatively drug free the whole time. Then, as she started to bring in the money her newfound status gained, she'd leave because she wasn't treated well enough or paid enough, or her new guitar playing boyfriend wouldn't want her doing other men on camera. The sales are nice but the costs are too high in almost all cases, in large part because of so much of what is said on XPT is true.

There was a girl back in 2004, who went by the name Jewel Affair. Her real name is Marissa Pomerico. She was 19 and was wanted and captured for aid to a kidnapping and identity theft to name just 2 (she had a few other felony charges against her as well). Jesse is probably better known than Stormy in the circles I travel with too. She's always upbeat, doesn't put on the "treat me like a princess" routine, and has been on scores of covers and in smaller mainstream projects. DP puts a lot of effort into her but she does a lot of it herself too. Having watched a great many of the scenes each were in over the years, Jesse is by far the more active sex performer of the two; even if Stormy gives a good hand/blow job. 
I have to agree, not to take anything away from Stormy though. She's a hottie, and will be around for a while, but Jesse Jane's in the pre-meth Jenna league.

That case made the papers big time here in Staten Island, where she's from. The Kid that was allegedly "Napped" belonged to her sister. The two of them rescued the tyke from his Father, a real loser from what I remember. IIRC, most, if not all, charges were dropped.

you know man, i was tempted to, but
#1 i'd probably get banned from the house again. imagine the conversation "yeah, can i post your passport on-line because some cats on xpt don't believe your age." that can be taken as somewhat insulting.
#2 honestly why would i? firstly i would not lie, all pr aside, you ask me point blank, no dancing around, is that her age? i say yes. i think my word is pretty solid.
