Gorilla was play-by-play. I think Gordon Solie was the best at it, followed by Jim Ross. Hennan, then Ventura were the best at color.



Of course, Ross was just recently elected to the WWE (WWF) Hall Of Fame, for whatever honor that's worth. He's also the only one living amongst those 3 names given, too. Personally, I dunno the difference between play-by-play & color, but I liked Gene Okerlund.

Jim Ross says the same damn shit all the time, "slobberknocker", "Fire & Brimstone (for Kane) and the like.
