one exploits silly young things with big hopes and dreams, the other's a porn producer. zing! gag factor may or may not destroy its viewers conceptions of normal sexual relations, but it's sales figures are tiny in comparison to the millions of developing souls warped by the displays of materialistic and vapid existences exhibited on my super sweet sixteen or laguna beach. one is responsible for donkey punch, the other coughs up the hills. it's ryan knox's penis versus fergie's singing career; misogyny versus stupidity; the oversexualisation of youth versus... the oversexualisation of youth. it's a tough one.

Shows like Laguna Beach or My Sweet 16 create vapid souls and depicts laziness rewarded. JM becomes the perfect opportunity when these girls grow up- the perfect occupation that requires minimal effort and where your qualifications are mostly placed on looks (well, grading on a curve depending on available talent pool). Those vapid souls become ripe for JM's picking and use.

I remember Wuhrer. I don't remember McCarthy, but that doesn't mean she wasn't there. A. Sandler was on remote control with Colin Quinn as well. And the Young Ones was a great import.

Jenny McCarthy was on "Singled Out" with Chris Hardwick. MTV's been dead to me ever since they removed the "M" and turned it into the Teen Hormone Channel.

Remote Control started out with Jenny McCarthy. She left I believed to do Singled Out on MTV. Kari Wuhrer then came on the show. After she left it was some ugly brunette skank that I haven't seen since. Yep, after that I was done with MTV.

You can't lay the blame for the moral decline of civilization entirely at Jeff's door. Although I'm sure he'd like to take the credit.
It's not just MTV (Conky drags his rocking chair nearer the cracker barrel), it's them darn single parent families, welfare kids, drug pushers, lack of discipline at home, at school, poor moral guidance demonstrated by celebrities, the whole ball of wax.
And it will be the end of us. As we cling to some transient, tissue of civilization and morality in the face of those who would murder us in our beds, our real enemies are here, roaming the streets with crack in their veins and guns on their hips.
I speak, of course, of male talent. No, sorry, I meant to say kids.
So Jeff gets off lightly in my book. He was filling a niche, not creating a demand.
