we now know he cried to jeff and tony after he bit off more than he could chew trying to gain street-cred by going after willie.

it's obvious he studied monkey's battle plan of being a total gadfly and using fake "insider" status to make people think they'd be killing a potential-golden goose of dirt and information an insider might spill in the future if they just went with their first instinct he was a lousy poster and ran him off.

he's discredited now and the truth is if monkey came to the board in 2007 instead of as the 500th poster he would never have been the monkey. the posters were remarkably-unsophisticated: mike meatmaster. mr.poo.ben. smartt. mattcasey. sportswami. longshot.

the board was mostly people banned from adt talking about being banned from adt. 500 people with little to say didn't have the savvy to deal with someone posting ridiculous shit and trying to take over the board and frankly, they needed the monkey. it was a time without enough posters, posts, or information and jeff and tony were wise to roll with any new poster that created a buzz like the wallice thread.

the only way posters like mr.poo could possibly be entertaining was if they were antagonized and made to feel angry and suffer. monkey made people like this entertaining because they were stupid and boring enough anything other than what they'd normally post was a change for the better.

eventually, better posters showed up and posted stuff good enough that luke and gene started realizing it was a resource they could find some controversy and some commentary and that's a story they don't have to write themselves. when it stopped being a 500-person adt hatefest and started being linked to as news reguarly, it stopped being a tree falling in a forest when something salacious was said. people in the industry started reading it because people talking shit about people in the industry started to be news starting with fayner and jenna.

you make fun of defiance films? they're reading. annie cruz? she's reading. lockwood? he's reading. hillary and leah? they're reading. del toro? he's foreign and he even tried reading. random trannies like wendy williams? it's reading.

if it wasn't obvious steph and drew are reading, willie and houstondon made it so.

and you know fuck well tricia's reading. fayner's still reading. katja kassin let me know she has been reading since last winter and she hates us too much to stop reading.

the board doesn't need a monkey anymore and monkey would be the first one to admit it. the last year and a half or so, he was on cruise-control in the sense he'd lost the ability to make people react like he did the first year and a half and the material didn't work anymore. but he was the best poster ever so nobody cared what he did.

darth is just a poor-man's monkey on a board that doesn't need a cheap facsimile of monkey. the caliber of posters is so much higher now it's not funny and they have the ability to create stuff worth reading and talking about. and they keep predictably getting better-bornyo, arab and myself were the first wave courtesy of monkey then every few months a willie, a random, a conky, an eddie breeze click "i accept" on the entry page and start raising the bar higher.

darth is a dead-end. he's shot his wad and he's over. it's not 2004, his angle's shot-out and blown-out and it's been done before and better. he's a guy from arizona trying to be controversial, but porn writes it's own controversy better. there's never going to be some insider-bomb he can pull out to redeem himself because he never had it to begin with and the bluff's been called.

any weight or credibility a thread on the industry he starts is long-gone and we're left with a relatively-talentless and limited poster.

the stench of death and panic are in the air now, the predictable acts of desperation like whining to jeff and tony for protection have happened. so have the attempts to look like a martyr and screaming about free-speece.

he's been gelded, depending on how much pride darth has we can expect him to slide into the role of a ghostshadow or hyde sniping in a flamewar here and there while licking their wounds.

it took him 200 or so posts to hit the dead-end, there's nowhere to go but thrashing around for a bit and gasping for air or acceptance of the situation and salvation through humble reincarnation as a better poster.
