I can understand the insurance company calling to say he did some additional damage to the car/policy holder during the fracas so where can we bill you, but calling up to say thank you for saving the policy holder's life?

That's some funny shit. No insurance company is going to do that. They have no reason to. They only care about what you did to your car and what injuries you suffered as a direct result of the collison, not what happens to you rolling around on the ground afterward. Hell, once you get out of the vehicle and are ok, they care more about the guy you hit than you......Obviously, Jack didn't run this release by his porn publicist prior to putting it on the street.
