I was refering to A&E's contract stars, of which there is more than just Ava unless they've fired Carmen Luvana recently? If you wanted to go on the show by yourself, I doubt they'd be bothered, but if you bring your sis along then it becomes a matter of company interest, and like I said, they're not dumb enough to march one of their biggest marketing tools on to an anti-porn, fish-in-a-barrel-shoot like the Maury show.

You're 100% correct here...you have no reason to care about A&E, and they have no vested interest in you either. But we're not talking about just you here, are we? We're talking about the package, i.e. you and Ava together, and they most certainly do have a vested interest in what Ava does, how she presents herself, how she represents/portrays the company etc.

Might I suggest Monstar to fill that publicist-sized void in your life? He shills hard for his girls, but he's tolerable too.

As for Ava, don't try to 'keep up'...find your own direction. Most hardcore gonzo fans detest the sort of couples-friendly feature stuff that A&E put out...thus you can be the Yin to Ava's Yang in this respect, the Naughty to her Nice.

You might not be able to see it now, but trust me, she is definitely helping you by not doing the show.

Personally, I'm really hoping the people from Maury Povich now go ahead and book, say, Whitney and Britney Stevens, and spring the ambush they had planned for you and Ava on them instead. Then I can turn around and say 'Ha! Told you so!'.

She is definitely being cruel to be kind in this instance, but I think she's doing you a huge favour by not relenting on her decision.
