Elaborator, you're a lost cause. The issue of sanctions was used by your political peers as another reason to fault the US because it hurt the Iraqi people not Saddam. So, nice try having it both ways. Saddam broke more than 10 UN resolutions over a decade and used the oil for food program to milk millions from the corrupt UN. Under the agreement from the first Gulf War we could have invaded after the first broken sanction. Yet, somehow you are defending him and faulting us for his bad behavior. If the UN and international organizations abroad had any backbone whatsoever, enforced the UN resolutions the fight against terror and fanatical dictators would be much more successful, but self-loathing (credit jamesn) lovechildren such as yourself choose to bury your heads in the sand or hate on our goverment instead of focusing on the real threat of the day. yeah king ...this war became all too personal to me in november when my buddy was killed in iraq for nothing.
I don't feel like i would be honoring his memory amongst the likes here...and what is the point anyway? i liked to feel at least i had a sort of friendship with folks like you here even if we disagreed. Obviously that was wrong and there was nothing built up here anyway like friendship or whatever. have fun with yr lil yes men like Raoul.

Seriously since this dude i knew was killed in Iraq the whole political thing which had always had the potential to make me fucking crazed has ...well really made me crazed and alchohol so fuels any fire. i need to just accept that there are different opinions and let it slide...oh man i wish i could just let it slide. so yeah i am a bit sheepish now and even tho i know i am right i will refrain from any political discourse (on this site anyway) ps - in my hangover couch bound day in front of the TV i was able to catch up on Pop culture and caught the Rosie O Donnel reference... she is a kook and just wants to get attention. she is a fat Ann Coulter i guess. anyway king,Raoul and whomever else my scattershot insanity touched...sorry. i guess it is better than beating my girlfriend at least.

This is a better place without phlog. I have never supported Premeir George Walter Bush, even held my nose and voted for the real winner of the 2000 presidential election (Gore). Wrong. One of the reasons to go to war was to liberate Iraq not just Baghdad including the Kurds in the north who are doing amazingly well since the invasion, but you don't hear much about that because it doesn't include any body counts, hence not newsworthy. Of course there were more reasons than just liberation from a brutal dictator for going to war, but I'm not rehashing all that shit. As far as me suggesting that Baghdad be turned into a divot that was a bit of an exaggeration just to point out that our military has done more to reduce civilian casualties than ever before even to the detriment of our own.

I hear and read a lot of this kind of stuff here and at ADT when I lurk there. I'm not trying to start another 20 page battle about conservatives vs. liberals or dissect opposing political ideologies on porn but for all the moaning about the supposed neo-con crackdown on porn I don't see it. Porn is bigger than ever. There are more producers, stars, distributors, companies, fans than ever and the industry is generating more money than ever expected, right? Where is the crack down? After 6/7 years in office if Bush really wanted to shut down the adult industry do you think this is all that would happen? Max would've been behind bars already for the stuff he does and sells as his European versions, no? If I'm totally off base let me know because I don't really follow this that closely. Basically, it just seems that the general opinion that porn is under more scrutiny than any other industry by the government is a little exaggerated.
