I'm a good, old fashioned Irish-Catholic Democrat from New York, and it makes me sick to see members of my party coddling terrorists just because they Hate Bush. I can't stand Bush, but the man has done nothing wrong in the way he treats the terrorists in Guantanamo. Treats 'em too damned good, if you ask me. Probably erring on the side of caution. As for comparisons between Gitmo and Iran, or the detention of the IRGC members posing as diplomats and the kidnapping of the 15 British Sailors and Marines, the suggestion is Prima Facie absurd. I expect that kind of talk from the Eurosocialists at ADT, and have plenty of fun proving them wrong. But when members of my party remain wilfully blind to the obvious simply out of partisan hate, then I begin to question whether we're any better than the Republicans.
