I think it's probably a mistake to use the Die Hard series of films as a platform from which to launch a serious political debate. It's a short journey from Brucie to the subtle political statements made in Porky's 2.
No that you mention it,Porky's 2 is one of the most politically important films, next to the Incredibles.
1. Produced by Canadians (almost French).
2. Involves a Shakespeare play which is opposed by "The Righteous Flock" who think that Shakespeare is indecent.
3. Involves the Ku Klux Klan, who object to a non-white (Runningfox's Seminole character) playing Romeo. (Was Monstar in this)
Ignor the significance of this FILM (to call it a movie is a slight) at your own peril.
