Yes, but apparently many industry folk were mixing me up with Dan from Genesis, attributing my opinions to him, and giving him heat over it because my name also happens to be Dan and I had a picture of Genesis Dan as my avatar. Hence my new avatar.

Therefore, some folk are/were labouring under the misapprehension that he does in fact post here all the time, when in truth he does not.

It's all Christian XXX's fault...he was the first one to make the bizarre and utterly unprompted mistake, and so I adopted the Genesis Dan avatar as a kind of in-joke (but of course, with the disclaimer beneath it proclaiming that I was not the Editor of Genesis).

I have to say, I'm rather disappointed in the fact that during my Genesis Dan avatar stint, people mistook me for him, but nobody mistook him for me...no all-caps Kurt Lockwood death threats, no offers of sexual favours from porn starlets in exchange for magazine coverage, no PMs from Holly Randall promising to give me Aria Giovanni's home phone number if I gave her the cover. Not even so much as a screener. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
