I'm currently stuck in standby hell at LAX. Other than going home for 4 hours to shower and nap, I've been here for 30 HOURS!

Yet after 30 hours in the airport she ends up as a marquee guest at Mias' birthday party. Hmmmm.




nah, I wasn't a marquee guest at Mia's party.
That post on ADT was when I was bored out of my mind at the airport. I was really feeling that it wasn't looking good for being able to make it on a flight, cause the standby lists were still REALLY long. Fucking spring break and American Airlines cancelled flights.
Anyway... I let Sasha sleep a lot because she was really not feeling well. So I was calling people while waiting. People in Miami, friends here in LA. Once Sasha and I left the airport on Saturday afternoon (less than 2 hours after that post), I called a bunch of people to tell them I wasn't going to make it to Miami. Called a couple people here in LA that had been keeping me company on the phone. One of them said they were going to Mia's party that night.
I adore Mia, and since I hadn't made any other plans for that weekend OTHER than be in Miami, I figured what the hell - might as well blow off some steam. Since mine and Sasha's bags had been sent to Miami and my favorite shoes were in there, I stopped at m. frederic to buy shoes and a dress, stopped at a MAC makeup store to buy makeup because my makeup bag was also in my luggage.
