What do the stars actually mean? Scout.com (sports message boards) use a 5-star system as well, but someone who has a 1 or 2-star rating would be considered a below average poster. Those with 3 stars would be considered mediocre. However, it seems that on XPT, even one star indicates that the poster has a positive (above the mean) rating. Is that true.
The question here, as I understood it, is who has the most rates per number of posts. Regardless of the outcome or number of stars. So in that context, no stars is absolutely terrible, but someone with one star, 90 rates and 100 posts rocks. The rest is derivative of what I just said.
