awesome, many thanks. he was long gone by the time i was there, at least in terms of physically being on campus with any regularity. i don't specifically-remember any knockwurst, just pooping like a monkey freshmen year.
Was Michael Berry the Director of Dining Services when you were there? He joined in 1991, just before I left and had started to institute MANY long overdue changes (for the better) to take our food and dining services off the "LAUGHING STOCK" award list compared to the other Ivy's. I used to Think Cornell's food was so good it almost justified living in Ithaca....ALMOST. Berry came from the University of Irvine, so naturally he turned the Dining services on their ear. This of course led to the dining hall workers strike of (what year was it? 96 or 97) when Affleck and Damon felt behooved to speak out on behalf of the stodgy dining hall co-workers. Did you miss any meals 'cuz of that bullshit? Basically the dining hall staff(s) were a bunch of half-portugese lazy bastards who didnt like serving more than two entrees per day (Cornell served 8 entrees per dining hall.....EIGHT!)
