I find this curious. If this site bans people for contrary opinions or agendas, what exactly seperates it from ADT or other places that restrict postings or freedom of speech. If anyone was in the wrong recently it was the flock of "old school" posters who started reposting the same message over and over again as a weapon of mass annoyance. Opinions shouldn't be banned here, but intentional spam should.

My understanding of the history of xpt suggests that Mr. Stewart started this site to stand upon his strong beliefs pertaining to free speech. Do I have to like Jamesn to post here? Do I have to like you Willie? Do I have to be nice to you or go out of my way to preserve your sensitive feelings? Do the people I am "attacking" really possess such meager means to defend themselves intellectually that removing me from the community is the only way to react? Interesting community.

Do you have to like anyone in particular on here? No, of course not. Should you really be picking fights with the regs, derailing every other thread, and constantly hold an air of superiority over everyone? Probably not at this stage of the game. If you really aren't an Alt-ID, then that means you're new here, and if you're new here, the last thing you should be doing is trying to make enemies with everyone.

You're right about one thing... the best part about this place is the freedom of speech, which is why we're able to post XXX pics, and start threads that ADT would lock down in a heartbeat. However, that doesn't mean that you're free to turn a thread about a specific subject into a free-for-all pissing contest. Opinions aren't banned here, posters are banned, and usually for good reason.

On a personal note, I have no beef with you... but if you're really an Alt-ID, I gotta say I just don't see the need. If I have something to say, I say it. I don't need a fake account so I can say things without having to accept the repercussions.

Willie asked me to let things cool down. I don't disagree with his observation that people are getting annoyed one way or another. So I will acquiesce.

My final comment is this:

You have people who want things to remain static, unchanging. Complacent and comfortable in their surroundings they cause stagnation.

First, I have not derailed anyone's threads with insulting neandertal name calling or blatant subject changes. I state opinions and opinions only. If some of those opinions are facts, so be it. I have not spammed the board with crap, posting the same thing over and over again. The maturity level of some leaves a lot to be desired. If I choose to engage my banter with intelligence that so many aren't blessed with, then that is my choice. I realize this may be threatening to some.

I have up until now not really bothered with these little pissing matches but, when threads are continually derailed (either by bullshit or spam messages) and prevent the XPT community in general from just getting on about our business, then I have to speak.

Darth, I enjoy many of your posts. Chisulo, likewise some of yours.

What I don't enjoy are thread wasters like Ghostshitter. Posters who actually contribute nothing whatsoever to any thread, who don't start threads but choose to stick their head over the fence every now and then and flip the metaphorical bird to whichever poster they don't like.

In Ghostshitter's case, this is Jamesn. I personally find Jamesn one of the funniest and most evil posters on XPT. Always have, even two years ago when I started lurking. He posts things that my internal lawyer freaks about. Ghostshitter contributes nothing wherever he posts. His shtick is old and worn out.

Darth, you've got a beef with H2C, which is your prerogative, although I fail to understand your Jules thing, many of your posts are good. There's no reason for anyone to be banned, provided we all remember what we're here for: posting about porn, rather than bitching about fellow posters.

It is better to create hate than try to destroy its source, other XPT posters.

I'm not at all convinced he was banned.
