tom's is still probably the gold standard for benchmarks, but that's the best thing it has going for it right now. anand's admittedly weaker if you're looking for hard numbers, but i find it a more interesting and useful overall survey of wtf is going on with new toys. i thought the stuff they did with the g5 was about as solid as any article i've seen.
