I didn't read the whole post but the little bit I did read made me want to comment. I'll finish reading the rest later.

He speaks of the addictive nature of porn. The church exploits people's addictions a lot of ways. They have gambling such as bingo nights, Las Vegas nights. These events have a lot of alcohol. Also, where I live the catholic church sponsors a festival complete with a huge beer garden where they sell tip boards and raffle tickets.

They know that the drinkers and gamblers will come out in droves. They are not making their money off the person that buys 1 beer and 1 raffle ticket and goes home. They make most of their money from addicts or borderline addicts.

I'm sure if there were a way for the church to make money from porn, they would do it.
