clearly there is a cage aficionado who cannot let a single thread pass through without his approval. there was a thread rated three stars the other day, which was awesome. normally people rate threads when they either love them or hate them, three stars says "i'm indifferent yet feel a compelling need to rate threads." i encourage the anonymous thread rater to continue his work as it's the only way i can tell if i've been entertained or not.

clearly i'm bitter all my threads get one star. goddamn it.

windsock used to rate all of his one star immediately after posting them. i'm not much of one for ratings, but somewhere out there ghostshadow and company are convinced it REALLY HURTS when they give one of my awesome threads one star.

i picture the guy sitting their patiently, reviewing every thread the second it comes online and, in a modern day equivalent of a roman emperor's thumbs up or down display to decide the fate of a gladiator, pronouncing his relative enjoyment of a thread with the click of a mouse.

Eddie, if you have an Australian equivalent of Netflix, start watching the HBO series "Rome." Incredible. It covers many of the world's great perversions: murder, decapitation, politics, incest, rape, graft, war, fratricide, lesbianism, mental illness, I'm probably leaving some out.

rome was actually on free to air tv at one stage down here, it got good reviews but i can't commit myself enough to watching tv at a set time each week to watch it. i'll try to find it and check it out.
