i think you pretty much answered yourself. everyone can see how obvious the "i'm a satanist" gimmick is and not paying him any mind.
don't know if he's a good guy, bad guy, dipshit or not, but i do know the "i'm so evil and dark" shtick doesn't really register past junior high...unless you're in a really kool band.

I can tell you from experience that guy is an "I-git". I played the "Rockin 666 Eve" show he did with Zane and everything was fucked from the beginning. Just about everything we agreed on was either a pain in the ass to get, or didn't happen at all. At the end of the night (we were the last to play) The sound Tech was nodding off from Heroin so we had no live sound, I personally kicked a Satanic Priest off of the stage so that my band had their alloted time. Keep in mind that the "priest" was in panties, drunk, reciting super-stupid poetry that went no where. It was very hard to pin down Shane to get paid at the end of the night. A lot of people didn't even get thier agreed to pay for the night. The show was also supposed be released on DVD and all the performers were going to get copies of their own to sell. I have seen the the DVD for sale, no one I know actually got their copies. As for as I am concerned, Shane is a Fuck-Tard, a thief, and a liar.

Mr. Monstar - as I recall you helped promote the 666EVE event that made CLUB SATAN possible, and I thank you for that.
Regarding my film, I'd love to send you one if you'll review it honestly... and if ANY media folk would like a copy for review you gotta ask - I'd hate to send it to anyone who might be "shocked".
As far as Satanism goes - well - it does not define me - I define it... thru living a full-life.
The "shock" value is realative to who's shocked, no?
My film is only shocking to those who have yet to wipe away the outdated religious dogma their parents beat into them.
Marilyn Manson shocks OLD folks or really uptight younger dolts - but there are alot who find his act very entertaining and FUN.
I'm not a Satanist for "shtick" it's a philosophy that I feel best represents me. And if a logical, rational, balanced way of life is "high school" well - sign me the fuck up.
I'm very proud of the film we've created - it's unlike ANYTHING Extreme has put out - I hope you'll take the time to at least check out the 13 - 13 second clips I've posted in the news section of clubsatan.com

I'd be more than happy to do an impartial review and post it up here at XPT. More importantly, I'm well connected with a number of movers and shakers in the Dark/Goth/Horror/Occult scene in the UK, including a number of press outlets, so I'd be more than happy to put the review about a bit amongst an audience that I'd say is more your target than the average XPTer.
Having said that, I doubt the review will help your DVD sales, and given the laws in the UK, it's not going to help you get a UK distributor either (unless it's one that has no idea of the censorship laws of the country they live in...as a former distributor of adult movies in the UK, let me tell you that the whole jizzing on Christ scene just won't fly at the BBFC. Try looking up Nigel Wingrove and 'Visions of Ecstasy' to see what I mean.), but it might direct some quality, niche-identified traffic in the direction of your site.
Also, having just watched the trailer for the movie over at pornotube, can I just say how shocked I am that Hart D. Fisher's involvement hasn't been mentioned anywhere that I've seen up to this point?
When I saw his name in the credits, Club Satan's stock creeped up just a little in my mind...he is responsible for some of the most evil comics ever to see print.

The only thing that would shock me is if this movie doesn't suck like pretty much every other gimmick Extreme has tried over the last 5 or probably 10 years.
From the clips posted, looks like I'm not going to be very shocked.

"And the people are really freaked out by the blood we use in the movie as well," Bugbee continued. Wankus said he wanted to do something similar but felt that you can't mix gore with sex.
"We did and there are people doing that," Bugbee pointed out.
"But I don't want to sit there with indictments like you guys," Wankus cautioned.
"I think that's a backwards way of thinking of a lot of that stuff for the distributors," said Bugbee. "That's why porn is skewed to Internet sales for independent people like Suicide Girls. That's why independent Internet porn is taking over, I think."
Asked if he's encountered a lot of haters because of his views, Bugbee said especially on the porn chat boards.
"I don't know why they hate the film [Club Satan from Extfeme Associates]; they haven't seen it at all. They just hate the word satan combined with porn. That's weird stuff on the boards. But fuck 'em- I don't care."
Bugbee explained that Club Satan is also where they do the Satanic black mass ritual. It was noted that Paris Gables is featured in the movie.
"That's a fuckin' crazy freak," observed Wankus. "That girl is a smokin' hot looking chick and you'd never suspect she's twisted."
Wankus mentioned how Gables was on the show in the past and how Gables would say outrageous things like she loves fucking 18 dogs.

The point is, what you're doing is really not all that new or revolutionary. Mixing anti-Christian and/or Satanic messages in porn has been done quite a few times already.
That being said, I will try to watch the movie(as I end up doing with a porn that creates a bit of a stir) once it ends up in the bargain bin of my local porn shop(where most of Extreme's stuff ends up anyways).
One thing I'll never do again is boast the "first" of anything...
as far as originality - in a very general sense nothing is original, is it? In a very specific sense, as far as this film, it's the first time a Church of Satan official has put their name to a XXX film.
I might not know porn or porn history, but I know what I like and the one thing I do know, my flick is one of the best films Extreme has ever put out and probably one of the best 2007 will see... especially on the budget.
Then again, what do I know? I get my porn inspiration from books.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on my flick.
