Lol. The situation with approving people is fluid and I may change the policy at some point to ease it up.

For matters of national security I leave my exact logic in who gets approved secret, but if I recognize who the people are I usually approve them the same day, or if I think the signup might be amusing or topical (Skurt Lockwood) for intance I'll approve it know that if they act up they'll get banned by some moderator.
