I would guess he simply can't put in the time here anymore so he's quit. He has that extreme, all-or-nothing personality for sure.

I would have sent money but everything he has ever written has been tongue-in-cheek and it's a bit much to suddenly have to take him seriously. Even the name Travis reads like an obvious joke to me - but wherever you are Mr Bickle I wish you well.
