I see what you're saying. Different people get off on different things, some people dig hookers, which is cool. In my own situation, I never personally saw the attraction or the need. Just like I don't see the attraction in scat porn.... because I wouldn't watch or do something myself, doesn't mean I'm necessarily against it.

To each their own as long as all parties consent, and no one's doing anything against their will. Although the situation for your friend seems like it's just something fun for him to do, or treat himself to, I seriously doubt that the majority of "Johns" have that same mindset. Then again, it's hard to say considering most people who pay for sex prefer to stay anonymous.
