I made a similar post at ADT and the thread is already locked. I guess someone didn't want any discussion. Not sure who locked it though I don't think it was either of the owners.
If you want to slant a site a certain way that's one thing- but to call it a discussion forum and then totally close off so many topics to discussion is not very forthright.

Here's some advice for that board. If you want to post something controversial, do it in Nonsense or Porn News (if it is a 'news' article) where the moderation is not as quick (maybe because it's Steph and Drew's forums). Posting something negative about Hillary at a forum that Bono moderates will get an even quicker lockdown than the average Hardware lockdown.

Well since Gene is too slow and ADT locked the thread, here is my response:
I am deeply saddened that my former friend Leah Luv is suffering from schizophrenia and severe verbal diarrhea. Our mutual friends have told me that she has been on a shit talking rampage for the last several months and none of us know why. Some say it's jealousy, some say she's using meth again which would explain her strange behavior. But the article I read today was just pathetic. I had no idea she was that desperate to hurt me. I want to be mad, but I just feel sorry for her.
Nice to hear that you're financially secure now, Leah. Especially when a few months ago, you were evicted from your apartment and your car was repossessed. Oh, not to mention the several thousand you owe me....
To address the pile of crap that fell from her mouth, what she said about my family is completely untrue. I'm amazed that someone who physically and emotionally abuses their child would have the audacity to say such things about someone else's family life. Her son lived with her father until a couple months ago because she couldn't handle the responsibility of being a parent thus the physical and mental abuse. How's the therapy going Leah?
Regarding my hygiene lol, I must have worked with Leah about 20 times including the recent "Sweet My Ass" she attempted to "direct". That desperate Leah? No valid reason to hate me, so you just make stuff up?
People do have a problem working with her, however. She claims she "quit" but actually, people just stopped hiring her because of her bad attitude and lame sex scenes.

#2 - That would be within 3 days of someone applying

"Selling" a mortgage should mean that you own the right to collect the payments on an existing contract, and are looking to sell that right in exchange for cash today.
However, in context, we are talking about "initiating" a mortage rather than selling an existing one.
So, if I assume that the inverted yield curve is correctly forecasting a future decline in interest rates, I should try to lock in the relatively high current rates and loan the money at a fixed rate.
Does this even work anymore, though? It isn't the 80s when you paid points up front and refinancing was difficult and expensive. These days you can refinance for almost no transaction cost whenever interest rates drop, so you might as well treat a mortgage as a short-term loan no matter what the stated term is. In that case, I should push the ARM and get the higher short-term rates on it while I can. Of course, if there are pre-payment penalties and a discounted rate in the first years of the ARM, then it really is a case-by-case decision.
