Poptarts are the last thing you should eat if your health is teetering on diabetes. Refined sugars and processed foods daily would at least bring on Type II diabetes- adult onset. What food related diseases most people think run in the family are actually just poor eating habits handed down from generation to generation.

Her best bets are stovetop oatmeal, not the microwavable kind, and tons of cinnamin. It's proven that cinnamin lowers insulin dramatically. If not, eggs or fresh fruit are fine.
