I have to disagree. It's one thing to advocate that people spend their money elsewhere, and another thing entirely to suggest they just don't pay for it at all. It's not that piracy is so shocking, it's simply a matter of respect to the proprietors of the venue.

I'm usually the first person to oppose injudicious banning - I even had a long running feud with Willie that started over that very issue. If this were my board, I would tolerate pretty much any opinion, even criticism of my own product, but advocating piracy, no way. That's really shitting on the host's doorstep.
