My guess is she had a severe case of the bottle flu, read this in the paper, and appropriated it as her excuse. That Taryn is one lucky whore, because only two fucking people in the entire State of California were infected. Out of the tens of millions of residents, she was the lucky one. Not to mention that both cases further developed into a life-threatening kidney disorder which would require weeks of convalescence and dialysis, and she would have gotten an extensive forensic investigation by the CDC to figure out where and how she got it. But it's OK, I'm sure she had some good insurance to cover it all.
