I think everyone from xpt just assumed it was jamesn or some such using "Eli" as an alt-ID. Except he didn't say anything interesting and was only on-line for a few minutes, while the whole chat was moving a mile a minute with all the "do you have a boyfriend?" "do you like sex?" "do you watch 'House'?" "You do?, OMFG SO DO I!! I can't believe we were both watching the EXACT SAME SHOW last Tuesday!"
What was interesting was how validated Courtney obviously felt about the whole tattoo. "Leave him alone! His body is his art!", etc.
