NitneLiun, hasn't the U.S. federal government as a whole restricted the communication of nudity/sex more than its European counterparts, over the long-term, not just under the current administration? This thing about tits being okay on European tv but scandalous in the U.S. has been going on for decades.
If we can't keep our own religious-extremists in line, then we cannot expect foreigners to consider us as anything but a religiously extreme country.

I didn't conflate dissociation with psychopathology, although I could see how you would interpret it that way. The psychopath comment was just an observation that if I were looking for a female psychopath, porn valley is the first place I'd look.
I don't think its mutually exclusive to say that performers learn dissociation skills (to cope) or that fans have their own voids that they are filling. I think both are equally true.
I do think its unfortunate that people are saying "whores are fucked up". Their just different. If you really want to figure out how people tick, you cannot judge them and must look at them as if they were some alien culture that you were trying to understand.

An X in magic marker on the hand can is the symbol for straight-edge, but is also used to mark people at a show/concert(usually under 21 kids to signify they cannot drink if alcohol is served in the venue).
could be either, or both.
