Rob Bottin is revered for his work on The Thing...particularly the spider-head creature and the Dog Thing. That stuff was cutting edge back in the day, my friend!

Personally, I'd much rather see some good ol' fashioned latex and bladder work than all of this crappy CGI shit that's all over the movies nowadays...
