I went and read some of the threads here about the recent incident and found out exactly how obsessed with me the wacko is, confusing me with Bornyo(sp?) and some unknown AVN writer/reviewer. The current word is that the police aren't going to pursue the matter but I know from experience that if another journalist, director, or someone else is attacked by the guy next week; they're going to reopen his case file pretty quickly. Gram can even skip the police and go straight to the DA's office to push the matter further if he likes too, so his options are not closed by a long shot.
Lackwood is a danger to himself and others even using his own accounts so as the number of companies that refuse to hire him grows, he'll likely become increasingly violent, ultimately ending up where he TOLD ME (via email) he wanted to end up, going out in a blaze of glory. For all his threats though, when I was chatting with his employer in front of the Sex Z Pictures booth (Mr. Kenney; the owner), Lackwood never interrupted or said a word to me, in stark contrast to his promises after last year's show. I'm not going to say I was disappointed; as an adult, I don't relish beating the living shit out of a guy half my size that obviously has mental and drug problems, but I did joke aboout it within a couple of feet of the guy with the company publicist, Bo, and their far more talented director (Bryn/Eli) with the little guy looking up at me at least a few times before he averted his gaze (technically, we were blocking where lines would be standing to see him even if he had a lot of down time as the ladies gathered virtually all of the attention).
The short version of what took place in the assault:
Lackwood jumps out of his car after ripping off his shirt to confront Gram.
Gram shelters his expensive laptop in one hand and his cup of coffee in the other.
Lackwood yells and shoves Gram.
The two separate as the director, a tranny who works for an appropriately named company, tries to calm things down.
Luke and Gram are told to leave the set as though they did something wrong.
The press on this is largely negative, with a few asskissers suggesting the victim was at fault. The reasoning behind this is essentially the same as blaming a rape victim for wearing a short skirt or saying she had no right to be out by herself late at night. To date, NO ONE has proven where Gram wrote that Lackwood is a "fag" and the best they could come up with is that Gram mentioned in several articles that Lackwood's propensity to take things in his ass is CONSIDERED gay by a lot of people. Regardless of how many men Lackwood has supposedly had sex with while escorting on the side (before and after getting into porn), few people in the press (if any) have called him gay. The way he gets so sensitive about it makes me think he's at least bi but it could just be the result of the meds he is supposed to take but refuses to since it harms his performance in porn (which, by the way, shouldn't have to be the case as there are ample substitutes he could take that wouldn't impact his wood).
The spin put on by the tranny director and the company owner, makes me realize what bottom feeding scum they must be (I could be wrong), especially when they encourage Lackwood to act like a nutjob by their repeated defense of his actions. Let's face it, the fact that they initially said how tough it would be to replace him because the "role was written for him" is about as large a leap as anyone could make given the way people flake in the industry on a daily basis. There are well over a dozen males in porn that act better, perform better, look better, and treat people better than Lackwood with many more that have varying degrees of those qualities in greater abundance than the little guy. Lackwood was already late and a replacement should have been called much sooner; I'm willing to bet if Ben English (AKA: Derrick Hayes?), Joel Lawrence, Lisa Ann, or any of the other agents had been given a last minute casting call, they'd have come up with a superior choice in about as much time as it would have taken to get a cup of coffee at the nearby Starbucks.
The director's claims of being unaware of the bad blood between them are a display of his cluelessness regarding Lackwood's frequent public outbursts more than anything else. Lackwood has a lengthy history of yelling "hater" at anyone that doesn't acknowledge him as the best male performer/director/musician/anything else he chooses to do unconditionally. I've seen some of his work and while it shows some promise, it also shows the kind of amateur mistakes that everyone makes when learning how to direct. Pointing that out should not result in theatrical displays or temper tantrums by the guy. One of these days, he's going to attack the wrong guy and end up hurt or in jail, if not worse should no one have enough balls to hold him accountable for his actions.
Sorry for the rant but the whole "he called me a name" excuse is about as stupid as I've heard in a very long time and having been threatened via email by Lackwood myself (he owns a gun don't cha know...) after he mistook me for someone else, I tend to side with my experiences over the spin doctors that are pampering him at this time.
Oh, and my offer still stands to set up a little boxing event where Lackwood can face his critics one at a time in the ring; the only real alternative since dueling is currently illegal in the US.
