Funny thing about Youngs' contract with the Express.
It wasn't a lifetime deal,but a 40 year contract(for $40M). The owner had to buy insurance(or a Bond?) on the contract so Young still gets paid on it,and will until 2024,despite the league folding.

I'd say his agent earned his 10%.



The USFL had a $1.8M salary cap, so Young was probably like Herschel Walker and had a "personal services" contract for the remaining dollars.
