As far as the impact on the porn industry, it certainly means a continued influx of new talent. However, it also likely shortens the shelf life of said talent considerably. Of course, this has been going on for a while, but the days when names like Amber Lynn or Tracey Adams, etc. could dominate box covers for years are long gone. Branding via title or producer will have to take over for "oh, a new Aurora Snow film is out!"
It also means that the Ashley Blues of the world are going to find it much harder to stay in front of the camera long enough to land a deal that puts them behind it. Being able to stuff your fist down your throat or being willing to be pissed on are not going to be skills restricted to the dregs of the talent pool any more.
