How much trouble would it be to adjust/fix this to allow the same range of freedom we have with plopping images in the middle of threads? Looks like your on a server out of Seattle,,So your definitely not on an off shore server...You should be able to set up a board like this for very minimal cost,if any, with unlimited space..The software that runs this forum is kind of dated........ You'll see two edit fields labeled Width and Height on the left hand side. Whichever number is larger, change it to 100. Click OK. 5. Its about the size restriction on the Ava's themselves. His arguement (and mine) is that 100 x 100 is too small. It seems that there is no restriction on the size of the pics we can upload.. Files can be no larger than 175000 175 KB is the limit. Personally, I'm fine with the status quo regarding avatars, but increasing the size availability is cool too. I've seen boards with big avatars and they look funny. They distort the page proportions and distract from the high calibre discussion. I'd hate to see xpt become a fanboard, where people post avatars and "signatures" consisting of 1000x1000 "mashups" of Hilary Duff, or Hillary Scott, or whoever their current obsession is. The 300+ post "tribute" threads already aren't worth loading for 15 minutes in order to read the most recent posts. Too many forums get ruined by idiots with huge animated avatars and signature graphics. A good example of a shit forum is blackgirlonline. This forum software may have some age on it, but it's pretty quick overall and easy to read.
