Well, i guess they didn't really count as criticisms.
But, no... i do not have an advanced degree... I only have a BA, I never finished after that, and though i thought about it when i came back here... chances are I never will. I do have my regrets about that to some degree, and do not in others.
And while the job in Europe wasn't bullshit, i did count my chickens before they hatched. Since in the end the bureaucratic end prevented it from happening, and I got fired from the job for the same company here because of my drug issues, even having your uncle as your boss cannot protect you from rock bottom.
But, now i am a sober and more well adjusted person.

to be honest, i really don't care one way or another. I come on here for shits and giggles and the occasional good bit of conversation. The rest of this, and stuff like this is just keyboard diarrhea from anonymous people on the internets, not worth any enrgy to worry about, it is just good to know i'm ingrained in someone's mind enough they will talk about me... though even the ones who I have met in person around here and open thier mouths the biggest... never say anything to my face IRL.... so it really is just a waste of energy to get upset over it.

I'm actually confused... so you made it clear that you've lied about being a 'clean/sober' person. In some ways I find it hard to believe you really even had much of a severe addiction and perhaps more so needed to just get away and go back home to regain your sanity. But who knows, I can be rather stupid and naive, obviously.
But I do recall you saying that you, if I remember correctly, finished high school early but never went for college education. And I remember having a discussion, to which I vaguely remember (bad memory *sigh*) you saying things in such fashion that lead me to believe that you didn't see much importance or need for college education. Which is totally fine. Whatever.
But now in another thread just recently, I see you saying you have a B.A.? New things just keep popping up and I'm just wondering if all that I've learned of you and Kei in the past... were they all merely stories? Was it amusing to you guys to take advantage of someone who opened up enough to listen and learn what others had to say, perhaps even trust, share and .. well you get the picture.
From my end it just seems like you guys have been just doing some major soul searching, trying to find what you really are, what you really want and things of that sort. Not so much really trying to beat an addiction. At least speaking of the majority of it all.
So what issss the real story of you & you and kei. (I don't feel respectful enough calling her Kei but then again I dont want to use a real name when I'm not sure it's allowed, so please tell me what name I should use LOL)
Also, might I edit to add also that I very clearly remember more than once you guys explaining to me that upon entering the biz you have felt you had to dress ordinary to fit into the porno pool so you can shoot as often and become looked upon and accepted in the biz like any other performer versus trying to get into the biz dressed goth-like (dark clothing 'n such) and do remember you saying that the whole (can't remember the term) but i'll use 'underground' look was more you and it felt good to be able to dress and look how you've always wanted and not having to conform for others just to be accepted.
Now in another thread you've basically said the samething but vice versa.

Gen, it has nothing to do with you personally... i mean that from the bottom of my heart. We believed in "Living the Gimmick" and didn't have it any other way with pretty much anyone... very few people knew the real US.

Just call her "S", it is a sutible pseudonym on all ends now. As far as the real story.... We have known each other since high school when we starred in a play of Pink Floyd's The Wall together...that much is true. We got together 4 yrs alter when we met up at a Frisbee game I was playing with some friends in the parking lot of a comic book store i worked at while going to school, though i no longer worked their and instead was working for a porn store. She moved in with me after our 2nd date.... 3 yrs later we on a whim one day decided we wanted to visit LA and do porn... and a week after being in LA, we decided we were staying. There is so much intertwined between that if you want the full scoop you will get it some time after we get back... as i don't want to type it all out right now.

When i was younger and i did sort of dress the "goth" part... and yes i listen to odd music, but if anything i was always more of a raver than anything... hell listen to the music i usually prefer... its Hard Trance. I do NOT like to do the whole "goth look" think and haven't since i was about 17... if you look at me when I first came in i looked very normal. Once again... it was about fueling the characters, and living the gimmick.

It's not gimmicky... it is something I truly believe in. To me, the futurism is kinda the closest thing to a "religion" i have ever had (Taoism and Buddhism being philosophies). It is the only thing i find truly worthy of "faith". To me a world where man has transcended death and forced evolutions hand, is a much better alternative than some guy in the sky. It is something TANGIBLE, something possible, and something we will likely see within our lifetimes... MSNBC.com ran an article earlier this week discussing robots and A.I. and also discussed the concept of singularity... and Discovery had a great special on a few weeks ago called 2057 (which actually stopped short of where we are likely to be by that point as many of the technologies they showed were a very short time down the road.)
If I am to believe in anything, i will choose to believe in the future. It is a much better alternative... especially with so many in this world now days believing in NO future. All of the apocalyptic bullshit fed to us by the religious types... i mean 50% of Americans believe that Jesus is returning to earth soon and it will be the end of the world... and they hope for that. To me THAT is sad.

I really don't much... and only chime in usually when it is relevant to the discussion at hand, or the derailment it has taken. More often than not it is other posters who make whatever thread i post in turn into a discussion about me, I blame their obsession instead.
Truth is, i see myself now as an open book... part of my therapy is breaking down the barriers I had built with the persona's i had taken on as a shield for myself. The incarnation that you had come to know, was created to be unlikeable for the most part... as a defense mechanism. If you encourage people not to like you, you have no need to be anxious over what they think of you. I now know that isn't a healthy thing to do, and only causes more damage, and in the end more anxiety.

Is it just me, or do H2C and elglorioso's arguments resemble an old fashioned Wild West brawl from one forum to another? Kind of like the Errol Flynn flick, Dodge City.

Lou, I get the cockroach thing, but you've gotta have geography. Imagine the two of them slamming each other through the saloon doors, then back through a window, over the bar, into the mirror behind the bar, up the stairs, over the side through the chandelier...
And all the way through it, Windsock's sneaking himself drinks while the bartender's attention is on the fight and the Fatman hammers a tune out on the piano in the corner.
