Luke is a Journalist William. I dont disagree with the other aspects of your statement, about him trying to maintain a detached, superior position as he reports and observes the carnage. He was always knocking Holly and getting in thinly veiled jabs about her as a pornographer whenever he could...sometimes they worked in terms of being entertaining and introspective, other times they were just plain mean and obviously intended to piss Holly off or hurt her (no doubt due in part to her dumping his ass.)

But LUKE IS A JOURNALIST....I didnt say if he is a good or bad Journalist, he just is one...his potential as a writer no doubt is there, and he is clearly intelligent. But thats about it. He does use Satire sometimes, and my point in making the comparison to Jonathan Swift was also satirical in its own way... Holly is simply brilliant, and having been with Luke for as long as she has, and as close as she was, she is in the best position compared to everyone else to make conclusive and judgemental statements about Luke.

But you are nuts for calling Ceara Fat. She doesnt need me to defend her beyond stating my OWN opinion, so I will simply say "YAY!" for chicks who actually eat and smoke pot so that they have healthy looking, "non-methorexic" bodies.
