jack, I usually enjoy your posts, and this one completely sums up XPT, and I disagree with it. For those of us in the industry, it's a chance to bitch about people we know within the safe confines of a anon ID. For those outside the industry, it's a chance for them to be just as cynical about 'the glamorous world of porn' as the people in it.

And yes, if someone blogs something amusing, then it's absolutely fair game. If it wasn't, then Luke, Gene, Mike, Gram etc would never get mentioned here, and nor would the people they blog about.

It's inevitable that if you work in the adult industry, sooner or later someone you know will be pilloried here for everyone else's enjoyment. It's already happened to people I count as close friends, and I've deliberately stayed away from those threads as a result.

Are you suggesting physical confrontation and jail time are a better option when it comes to spleen venting?
