Finally, big business gets a break:

"News Corp. plans Fox Business Channel this fall

By David Lieberman, USA TODAY

NEW YORK — News Corp. (NWS) made it official on Thursday: It will take on NBC Universal's CNBC this fall by launching a companion to Fox News, called — for now, at least — the Fox Business Channel.

The venture will be run by Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, who ran CNBC from 1993 to 1996. Another CNBC veteran, Neil Cavuto, who runs Fox's business news unit, will oversee content on the new channel.

"We have long considered the business television market to be underserved," News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch said in a statement. "I look forward to introducing new competition and a new voice to the business news arena."

He added, at a media conference here Thursday, that the service would be more sympathetic than CNBC is to business. "They leap on every scandal," he said."
