I must confess to partially agreeing with Luke, in that I too found that nauseatingly ADTish. I don't think addicts of any variety are entitled to a massive outpouring of sympathy in the manner of a cancer victim - it is self inflicted after all...

...But hang on, Holly didn't ask for sympathy. Neither has she let herself descend to the level of a public train-wreck, ripe for mocking in the cage. This would have been a private matter between her and friends/family, if someone hadn't outed her. Um, Luke, YOU made this public, you've no right to complain when the reaction isn't what you expected.

We all have our flaws, especially the sort of cynical souls who inhabit the Monkey cage. The difference between us and our quarry is that we have the dignity not to advertise and celebrate them.
