Thx for the info on the courts-martial. I had thought any "military" felony would nix the pension.

On Oliver North, his convictions were overturned after the ACLU came to his defense. So, he isn't a "felon". He committed felonies and admitted to them under immunity, but he isn't a felon.

Many see him as a hero. Those same people see lying about getting head from a chubby chick as a death penalty offence, btw.
