Its not only escort services that are now using pics of pornstars to promote their businesses. There's a promoter from LA that partnered up with a rather large well known live musical venue in Las Vegas for an AVN after party that used pics of 50+ different stars to promote the party.

I watched a crowd of people gather to come meet and greet their favorite star and really none of the girls probably even knew that their picture had been used to promote the party. The photos that were used were also stolen from photographers.

I'm about to file in Los Angeles numerous misappropriation of likeness claims for all of my clients that were on the flyer, if the live musical venue and the hotel/casino they are located in doesnt come back with acceptable settlement terms.

People think that just because a woman is in this business that she doesnt mind being used for advertising. The answer is probably not, but (1) at least pay her something and (2) let her know before you do it so she can make the decision to have her image and/or name affliated with your party/escort service/product.
