I am a rabid Mr Show fan, too, and I really enjoyed her on it probably for the first time since I started watching her.
I first remembered her on SNL and thought she was kind of lame. Then again is was SNL so I gave her a pass.
Then I saw her on an episode of Star Trek:Voyager and she was well on her way to having me spork out my eyes by that point.
Mr. Show saved her (and my eyes) although I credit the terrific overall writing staff of that program and the way they all held it together repertory style more than anything else. Few of those folks were ever quite as funny in other things after that show went off the air, so I hardy blamed her solely for that either.
Sine then I have seen her be "on" and "off". She can be hilarious, but I'm beginning to see her say-something-offensive-and-smile-cutely as forced and schticky as Goldie Hawn's giggle. I guess I'll reserve my opinions on her, once again, until I fianlly see the new show.
I suppose Comedy Central is looking for a new edgy Dave Chapelle-type cash cow in her.
