HPV can lead to cervical cancer. The way you catch HIV or Herpes is by coming into contact with said virus.

Cervical cancer takes time to grow and typically is caught long before anything goes too far. And the vaccine is only effective for some strains of HPV. It is not effective against all of them. The only way to avoid HPV is to never have sex or touch another human being...ever. Good for you on being HPV free.
