For those who might not have known:

Amish kids are allowed to be VERY VERY WILD to see if they want to remain with the community. It's called "Rumspringa" and many do drug and have wild pre-marital sex. It's a free will religious issue.

No one is forced to stay. You do lose all contact with the community if you choose not to return, but any who leave during this period are often allowed back later if they agree to live the life going forward.

But, once you choose to stay and you fuck up, you're OUT!
