I don't take anything for herpes apart from putting on this cream called Zovirax (sold in Australia for about $12) when I feel the tingling, itching which means I might get a cold sore. The cream just stops the cold sore from developing. I only seem to get a sore every 3-4 years or more anyway, it lasts for 2-3 days and then is gone
