if you're saying there's a link between violent movies and serial killers, or pornography and sexual criminals, then actually it's far from established. pscyhology has tried to show it for years, but for every bit of research claiming a correlation (it's never shown to be causal- very few things can be shown to be causal) there'll be something else published showing no correlation.

either way, i don't think it's logical- it seems equally logical to me that watching violent movies etc is a way of releasing aggresive tension in a safe and harmless fashion. if you look at the history of most serial killers, you'll find they have a background of forced supression of desire- and thus a need to act out- rather than any kind of literature or media indulgence.

although, there's a lot of different brain wirings involved, so what effects one person may have no effect on another. we can still fear for luke yet.
